Ude Walawe National Park

This National Park is home to over 500 elephants and a huge range of other birds, mammals and reptiles. We spent two nights under canvas in the park, with game drives each morning and evening.

Galle

Galle, on the south coast of the island was very hot and humid, so a lot of time was spent relaxing around the hotel in its dramatic setting on rocks above the beach. But we also took a couple of tuktuk rides to the Dutch colonial Galle Fort and into the town.
